Banner printing is the most economical way of displaying your message or campaign in an eye-catching manner.
13oz Vinyl Banner – this is a cost effective short-term solution. Will last longer in summer months than harsh winters. This standard banner material is designed to be applied to walls or any solid surfaces. This thickness of vinyl is not meant for long exposure over cold winter months or on fences for long periods of time. If you are using it for fences, we would suggest taking it down when it does announce high winds. If you are hanging on a fence, we also suggest using bungies instead of ropes; it will absorb the tension better.
What are grommets? – Grommets are metal eyelets press-sealed into the hanging banner so that you can safely hang it.
When to choose reinforced hemming for hanging banner? – We suggest choosing this option if you are planning to use this vinyl banner more than a couple of times. It will simply last longer.
How to Prepare the Artwork for Your Vinyl Banner
To ensure that your order is fulfilled smoothly, please follow these guidelines:
- Safe Zone
Please place your text and important graphics (such as logo) to be 1″ inside of the finished size on all four sides. - Colors
The file needs to be in CYMK color not RGB - Resolution
The resolution of your file needs to be 100-150 dpi, the bigger the size, the smaller the resolution, this is because the banner will be viewed from a further distance for larger banners. Also this will avoid giant file size. - Submitting Files
We prefer a pdf file. - Blacks
LARGE AREAS OF BLACK: Rich black ( 20% Cyan, 20% Magenta, 20% Yellow, 100% Black ) should be used for large areas of black and will give a deep solid black finish.
SMALL BLACK TEXT: 100% black ( 0% Cyan, 0% Magenta, 0% Yellow, 100% Black ) should be used for small black text (12pt and smaller) and lines, this will result in crisp text and edges. - For a Blue that does not come out Purple
To get a proper blue that does not print purple the Magenta has to be less than or equal to the (Cyan value – 30) The reverse is true if you want to print purple. - Check here for more artwork preparation info.
